Thanks to Vanessa Jackman’s blog posts (Running with the Fash Pack, Paris Fashion Week 2010), I’m able to reblog these amazing pictures that she took. Please accept spring’s invitation to Color. Happy sunning people!
So I realized I said this was an invitation to color but,… these lines are superb. It’s perfectly fitted and to die for!

bonjour! these pictures are lovebox originals, today’s lesson:
don’t be afraid of too much color or no color at all.

Aujourd’hui is a daily compilation of fashion snapshots that can be used for inspiration. It’s difficult to know how you are feeling or how you are not until you are inspired to copy, modify or change something completely. Never copy these outfits exactly, rather pay attention to the lines, or the staginess that you like. Pay attention to the combination of patterns or colors that are brought together and have jumped out at you. Pay attention to where your mind drifts off to and you will begin to create…all on your own. Let these daily snapshots inspire you to be or not to be.
Cheers!

dare to STREEP
March 9, 2010
I recently read an article that said that Meryl Streep is at the heigh of her career, defying the idea that young Hollywood is where the spark is. Truly amazing to watch, Meryl Streep has graced us with her talents in an array of films over the years. Though she’s been nominated a record 16 times for an Academy Award, the life in her work and the voice she gives to her characters are her true achievements. She’s quite delightful, as you can see in the clips I’ve provided below. I’ve always liked her, so very much. If you check out her appearance on the Ellen Show, you’ll see her ability to find the character she needs. British newspapers claim she has finally been appreciated for her Midas Touch, while others say that in recent years, Ms. Streep has made peace with her funny bone. Whatever it is, she’s brought a sense of comfort to many by defying the belief that stardom fades with age by shining brighest at the age of 60. She’s freed herself of all expectations and … she’s gracefully “winging it”. May we all learn to do the same. Bravo, señora!
To wrap up, when I saw the picture below, it made sense. She seems like someone who would sing in the rain, don’t you think?
Meryl Streep on Ellen Degeneres (2006)
“I believe in imagination. I did Kramer vs. Kramer before I had children.
But the mother I would be was already inside me.”
